Sickle Cell Vaso-Occlusive Crisis, Pediatric: Management and Care

Description This course discusses vaso-occlusive crisis (VOC) in pediatric patients with sickle cell disease. It also discusses pathophysiology, precipitating factors, signs and symptoms, and treatments. The course emphasizes pain assessment in children and includes information on nursing considerations and patient and caregiver teaching. Note: This course is delivered without audio narration.
